  37. Steve I suggest the following
  38.  
  39. Place SSbootfile on Amiga parition
  40.  
  41. Boot up SS
  42.  
  43. In the partition file area select the SSbootfile as filedisk1
  44.  
  45. Either create another filedisk using the create option for filedisk 2
  46. ( make it about 10-15meg )
  47.  
  48. or if the ZIP drive is a device then select it in the device 1 selection
  49.  
  50. Click save to save info
  51.  
  52. Boot up mac with start button
  53.  
  54. U should get mac asking u if u want to initialise either the
  55. secondfiledisk or the device
  56.  
  57. Answer yes
  58.  
  59. Boot up Zterm
  60.  
  61. Connect to apple etc
  62.  
  63. Select binary (bin)
  64.  
  65. IN Zterm select menu with mouse and highlight selection that says ( I
  66. think default receive folder ) When the requestor comes up either
  67. select ZIP drive or second filedisk
  68.  
  69. Get  7.0.1 files and download. Zterm should be set to Smart binary
  70. option for transferring
  71.  
  72. You should now have the files on your device or filedisk
  73.  
  74. U know have to either unstuff and unbinhex files that you have. If I
  75. remember u will have to use binhex that came with SSbootfile to do this
  76. Select download->application
  77.  
  78. make sure the new file goes on the filedisk2 or device
  79.  
  80. You may now have to unstuff the file above ( Maybe not ) If the file
  81. has extention .sit then u have to.

  83. After u do this you should have on the filedisk a file that has a
  84. little disk icon ( Install? )

  86. You now have to use Mountimage that came with SSbootfile. Start it up
  87. and click on the small disk ( I wannabe ) select the disk image above.

  89. A image should appear on the desktop that you can openup etc.
  90.  
  91. DO this for all the disks u downloaded
  92.  
  93. then click on install and custom install for ALL macintoshes
  94.  
  95. Either select the ZIP drive ( preferred for speed )
  96. or filedisk two as your system disk to install on to
  97.  
  98. Hopefully the system will install

  100. close down
  101.  
  102. reboot select new system (file/device) as boot and go to it
